Starting our trek in the desert from M’hamid, where you will meet your team and make our excursions to Oued Naam-Erg Bougarn-Erg Chigaga-Tilhatine-Erg Bartame, and back to M’hamid while walking in the Moroccan desert to the dunes, picnics, and lunches during a hike in the Sahara desert, and staying overnight in the mobile camps in the heart of the Sahara desert.

The full program for the desert trekking tour and camel riding in Morocco
Day 1: Trekking in Mhamid – Oued Naam
We start our Morocco camel riding tour by getting an overview of the trekking plan from a professional camel team. Then, we head towards the dunes of Erg Chigaga to discover the wonderful big desert. After about 3 hours of walking, we stop for a lunch break under a shadowy tree, enjoy tea and relax. We then continue our Morocco desert tours for another 3 hours of walking until we reach a dry river (Oued Naam), where we will set our camp, have dinner, and spend the night in a tent or under a sky full of stars.
Day 2: Trekking Oued Naam – Erg Bougarne
Day 3: Trekking in Erg Bougarn – Erg Chigaga
Waking up early to enjoy the sunrise and morning breakfast before we carry on with our trekking towards the dunes of Erg Chigaga. Lunch is under a shadowy tree before we reach the dunes. After a three-hour ride, we arrive at the large dunes of Erg Chigaga, which reach a height of 300 meters. Here you can admire the sunset and experience a different world, enjoying calmness and tranquility. You will have dinner and spend the night in tents.
Day 4: Trekking in Erg Chigaga – Tilhatine
After enjoying your breakfast, we take the route towards Tilhatine. After about 3 hours of walking, we take a break for lunch under a shadowy tamarisk tree, then continue our exploration to arrive at the dunes of Krayaat J’mal for the night, where we will set up our mobile camp and sleep in tents.
Day 5: Trekking in Tilhatine – Erg Bartame
Waking up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise and the Moroccan breakfast. We then continue our trip, discovering more of the desert dunes and stones, before stopping for lunch and enjoying a cup of mint tea. Afterward, we continue our trekking and riding towards the dunes of Bartam, where we will spend the night either in the tent or in the open air under the sky full of stars.
Day 6: Trekking in Erg Bartame – Mhamid
On the final day of our camel riding experience, we will wake up and continue our journey. We ride back toward M’hamid, where we have lunch together on the road somewhere, then resume the ride. In the afternoon, we will arrive at M’hamid, the end of this exceptional tour of Trekking in Morocco.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING FOR THE TREKKING?
For your comfort, You will need to bring with you a sleeping bag, sunglasses, a bottle of water, sandals, and trekking shoes.
What do I wear for the camel ride?
Be sure to wear full and loose clothes on your camel ride, especially in the Sublime desert. If you want to wear shorts, long shorts are recommended. Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes are also advised to make your camel ride more comfortable.
