Programmed Tour to Erg Chegaga Desert, the highest Dunes
Day 1: Ouarzazate – Agdz – Zagora – M’hamid
Morning departure by 4×4 with driver from Ouarzazate to M’hamid, crossing the Draa Valley and its thousand-and-one kasbah through a palm grove for over 200 km. Drive through the village of Zagora and Agdz. In Tamegroute you can visit the Koran Library, a ceramics factory, and the underground streets. Follow the trail through the palm grove of Oulad Driss and towards M’hamid, the last palm grove of Draa, and reach the bivouac in the desert. Overnight in the camp.
Day 2: M’hamid – Erg Chegaga Desert
After breakfast, we ride camels for about 2 hours and stop for lunch, after that set off on a 4×4 on a sandy track to the big dunes of Chegaga, the biggest dunes in Morocco. Arrive at the bivouac to admire the sunset. Locals will tell us about the desert and play Gnawa music for us to enjoy a fair site. We will have dinner, and spend the night under the shiny starry sky and for those who want to sleep, they can enter the Berber desert tent.
Day 3: Erg Chegaga Desert – Foum Zguid – Taznakhte – Ouarzazate
In the morning, you will attend the panoramic sunrise over the dunes, take your breakfast, and then depart to Ouarzazate via the trail between the Chegaga ergs and Iriqui Lake, and pass Foum Zguid. Continue via Taznakht where you will have lunch. Later, we drive back to Ouarzazate.

What do I wear for the camel ride?
