Details of the Trekking Experience in Moroccan
Day 1: Marrakech – M’hamid – Trekking in Morocco
Morocco camel trek Start our adventure From Marrakech for 10 days/9 nights to M’hamid. Pick-up at 07:00 am, then we drive through the scenic High Atlas mountains (2260m) pass, enjoying the mountainous road and the spectacular Berber villages.
Then you will cross the second pass, which is Tizi-N’Tinfifite (1660m), then reach the head of the Dra Valley at Agdez. Then we will pass many villages and gardens so that you can gain a better idea of the way of life along the oasis.
After that, reach M’hamid, where you will start your trekking, have dinner, and breakfast, and sleep in the bivouac.
Day 2: Trekking in M’hamid – Race N’khal-Sidi Naji
Our Morocco Trek From Marrakech for 10 days starts in the morning from M’hamid, the last village before Sahara, after meeting your team.
We start our trip to explore and discover the most beautiful parts of the Sahara. After about 3 hours of riding, we enjoy a lunch break under a shadowy tree in Race N’khel, then continue our tour for about 3 hours to Sidi Naji, the place where we will set up our mobile camp. You will sleep in the tent under a Sky full of stars.
Day 3: Trekking in Sidi Naji – Erg Ezzahar
We wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise, and after breakfast, we continue our trip by moving on through the magic Sahara desert.
After about 3 or 4 hours of trekking, we cross a big part of the desert, then break in the middle of the desert, where lunch will be enjoyed.
After that, we continue our adventure to reach the wonderful area of Erg Ezzahar, where we will set up our mobile camp under the sky full of stars.
Day 4: Trekking in Erg Ezzahar – Erg Ezzahar
After breakfast, we walk and continue Morocco Trek From Marrakech for 10 days around the dunes of Erg Ezzahar and take a break in the shade of a tamaris tree for lunch. Then back to our camp in Erg Ezzahar. You relax and enjoy the moment.
Day 5: Trekking in Erg Ezzahar – Erg S’mar
After breakfast, we carry on our trekking for about 3 or 4 hours with our companion animals (camels) toward a different world of calmness and tranquility. Lunch will be enjoyed in the shadow of a big tamaris tree. After that, our journey continues for approx. till we reach Erg S’mar where we will set up our mobile camp, and enjoy the sunset over the dunes.
Day 6: Trekking Erg S’mar – Erg Chigaga
We wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise, and after breakfast, we continue our trip by moving on through the magic Sahara desert. After about 3 or 4 hours of walking, we will cross a large part of the desert, then break in the middle of the desert for lunch. After that, we continue our adventure to reach a wonderful area of dunes in Chigaga, where we will set up our camp under the full stars.
Day 7: Trekking Erg Chigaga – Erg Chigaga
Wake up early enough and you will get the chance to watch the spectacle of the sunrise when the color of the dunes and the play of shadows are an awesome sight.
During your stay in Erg Chigaga desert camp, you will relax during your stay, and enjoy time with Nomad people. and to enjoy the sunset over the big dunes of Morocco.
Day 8: Trekking in Erg Chigaga – Erg Bougarne
Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise over the big dunes of Morocco, and after enjoying your breakfast, we continue our trekking and move on through the magic Sahara desert. After walking about 3 or 4 hours of trekking, we cross a large part of the desert, then break in the middle of the desert, where lunch will be enjoyable. After our break, we continue our adventure to reach the wonderful area of the dunes of Erg Bougarne, where we will stay and set up our mobile camp under the sky full of stars.
Day 9: Trekking in Erg Bougarne – M’hamid
After enjoying sunrise and breakfast, we continue our trek towards M’hamid. After taking us about 2 or 3 hours by trek, we enjoy a break for lunch prepared by your guide team.
Then we will continue to ride back through the amazing desert landscape to reach M’hamid in the evening, around 05:00 pm. You will stay for another night at camp in the oasis to enjoy showers and dinner.
Day 10: Trekking in M’hamid – Marrakech
Today is the last day of Morocco trekking, our sublime desert tour of 10 days in the Sahara from Marrakech. We wake up early in the morning. After enjoying your breakfast, we leave to go back towards Marrakech through the beautiful Dra Valley. Lunch will be enjoyed at local restaurants along the way.
After that, you will also cross through the High Atlas mountains, and then to Marrakech, where you will end your experience with Morocco Trek From Marrakech in days.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING FOR THE TREKKING?

What do I wear for the camel ride?
Be sure to wear full and loose clothes on your camel ride, especially in the Sublime desert. If you want to wear shorts, long shorts are recommended. Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes are also advised to make your camel ride more comfortable.
